WP reporter wins award for grain transportation coverage

WP reporter Brian Cross had an excellent showing in the 2014 North American Agricultural Journalists’ awards, placing second in the “series” category.

Cross received the award for his in-depth coverage of the grain transportation woes faced by the industry last year.

Grain transportation, including the rail network that takes grain to ports, is one of the beats Cross covers at The Western Producer.
