The Western Producer held a photo contest this spring, #plant14. We asked producers and agriculture enthusiasts to send in their photos of the multi-billion dollar campaign.
Most of the photos came to us through Twitter, some by email and a few were sent to The Western Producer’s Facebook page.
There are 175 photos from around the Prairies that can be viewed in our Pinterest album, which you can view here.
It was hard for us to pick the winners, as there were many incredible pictures. Eventually WP staff chose Dustin Mauws seeding image, which you can see below. Mauws gets more than just bragging rights for this great picture, he also gets a new Canon camera!
The people who submitted the next, top five photos in our contest will also receive a package containing some WP swag for their efforts.
