Four offices have been opened in Manitoba to provide residents with information on flood conditions.

Provincial natural resources minister Glen Cummings said the offices, located in Niverville, Russell, Melita and Selkirk, will have staff members available to answer questions on flood conditions and how forecasted levels may affect specific properties.

The offices will have daily contact with the flood forecast centre so their information will be timely, said Cummings.

People wishing to volunteer to fight the flood should contact municipal offices. Telephone numbers for the flood offices follow.
