The Canadian Canola Growers Association is accepting applications for the 2010 fall cash advance program.The program is designed to provide farmers with money to cover fall expenses.By providing cash flow, it can also give producers more flexibility in timing oilseed and non-board grain sales.Under the advance payment program, farmers are eligible for advances of up to $400,000, of which $100,000 is interest free. Post harvest advances are available until March 1, 2011.Producers can apply on-line at www.ccga.ca, or at 866-745-2256. Applications are also available at many local elevators.
