North West Terminal at Unity, Sask., has posted a six-month profit of $695,528 or 21 cents per share, down slightly from last year.
In the same period in 2007, the firm made $708,802 or 22 cents per share.
Grain shipments were similar to last year, generating revenue of $45.6 million compared to $28.3 million last year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were $1.38 million, compared to $1.58 million last year.
The company is planning to build a 25 million litre, $42 million ethanol plant.
