The main building at a John Deere farm equipment dealership in Rosthern, Sask., was destroyed July 22 after a fire broke out in the early morning hours.
Sources in the town, located about 70 kilometres north of Saskatoon, say the fire started some time before 10 a.m.
When fire crews arrived, the main building at the dealership was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters contained the fire to the building while nearby machinery on the dealership’s lot was moved to a safe spot.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined but the dealership’s main building, which included office space and service bays, was completely destroyed.
The facility is part of the Cervus Equipment chain, which owns about 20 John Deere dealerships in Western Canada.
