The Canadian 4-H Council’s 2010 Co-operators/4-H volunteer leaders of the year include Star McGregor of Salmon Arm, B.C., Terri Ormberg of Rimbey, Alta., and Lisa Nestman of Briercrest, Sask.

Other recipients include Judy Shelley of Hanover, Ont., Arthur Versloot of Keswick Ridge, N.B. (posthumously), Michael Carmichael of Albany, P.E.I., and Hilda Bellows of Summerside, Newfoundland and Labrador.

There are more than 8,000 volunteer leaders and 26,000 members involved in Canadian 4-H programs.

Each volunteer was nominated by 4-H members, with winners receiving $100 and 4-H products.
