UPDATE: Prairie rain forecast increases

The forecast accumulations from the rain system moving across Saskatchewan and Manitoba this week have grown from expectations on Friday.

It now appears large parts of Saskatchewan and Manitoba will get an accumulation of an inch of rain or more between Monday and Thursday.

The following maps from the U.S.National Weather Service Weather Prediction Centre, issued on Saturday, illustrate the movement of the system.

The first map shows the expected accumulation for Monday.
