Telescopic compact track loader does it all

Telescopic lift, reach and digging capability brought to cramped work sites and for those who move from one site to the next

JCB has introduced a new compact track Teleskid loader equipped with a telescopic boom that lifts, reaches and digs.

The 2TS-7T is based on the company’s small platform skid steer chassis.

The new machine is aimed at farmers and contractors who want a sub-2,300-pound skid steer. It brings telescopic lift, reach and digging capability to people who work on cramped work sites or who move regularly from one site to the next.

The 2TS-7T is powered by a 74 horsepower Kohler engine that meets Tier 4 final emission standards with no diesel exhaust fluid, no diesel particulate filter or other exhaust after treatment, according to a JCB news release.

It has a rated operating capacity of 2,096 lb. with the boom retracted and 1,140 lb. with the boom fully extended, and offers 20 percent more breakout force than similarly sized machines.

Maximum lift height is 11 feet 10 inches, forward reach is seven feet and it can dig two feet below grade.

The 2TS-7T is equipped with JCB’s single arm Powerboom and a wide-opening side entry door.

Standard hydraulic flow is 18.6 gallons per minute. The optional high-flow rate is 29.4 gallons per minute.

2TS-7T has the SAE/ISO standard quick hitch, which is compatible with all skid steer and compact loader attachments. It uses a single-point quick hitch lock-and-unlock indicator for enhanced visibility.

Operating weight is 9,914 lb.

The new machine has the JCB Smoothride System for greater load retention and operator comfort.
