This year’s trainer challenge judges were Ron Hoffman of Vermilion, Alta., Ron Anderson of Calgary and Dale Clearwater from Hanley, Sask. Judges looked for several components during the challenge, one of them being how effectively the trainer communicated with the audience what he was doing with the horse and why. | William DeKay photo
