Transportation snapshot – week 41

Shippers report that rail service and order fulfillment is meeting monthly demand. Total unloads at the West Coast reached 5,621 cars at Vancouver and Prince Rupert combined, which is five percent lower than the four-week rolling average and 10 percent lower than the same week last year.

Thunder Bay terminals unloaded 2,080 cars, which is 14 percent lower than the four-week rolling average and 10 percent lower than the same week last year.
